  • Description

1939 Breast Star to the Grand Cross of the Iron Cross. This is an excellent copy of a prototype award- a specimen of which was discovered in Austria by U.S. intelligence officers at the end of WWII. The original specimen, believed to be the only piece in existence, is now located in the museum of West Point Military Academy. The award consists of a large gilt metal breast star with with an Iron Cross affixed to the center and has a wide pin on the reverse. A rare opportunity to obtain a copy of this unique award.
